Maryam Naslafkih is an Independent Registered Dietitian (RD) working alongside PCCS. She has completed her B.Sc. in Dietetics at Université of Moncton and her clinical training at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Prior to that, Maryam completed her B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine at Université de Montréal. Maryam has worked both in the clinical field (Saint John Regional Hospital), the community (Loblaw) and in population health (Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick), with population of various ages and backgrounds. As a Dietitian, Maryam believes healthy eating should be enjoyable and stress-free – all foods can fit! Her nutrition counselling approach is personalized, intentional and compassionate because being healthy looks different for everyone. Maryam is fluently bilingual and can provide nutrition counselling services both in French and English. She is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Dietitians (NBAD) and Dietitians of Canada (DC) and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).
