Nigel is a full-time psychotherapist for PCCS and a billing and access committee member for the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB). He has experience engaging with diverse populations in the private, community, and medical models of care.
While at St. Thomas University, Nigel completed his B.A. with honours and distinction in English Language and Literature with a Minor in Psychology. He then graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Divinity. Nigel completed a residency year in spiritual care at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH)/McMaster and was awarded the Angel Marie O’Conner award for the resident who best integrates clinical work, academics, and research. Nigel also completed a a two year clinical fellowship in spiritual care at SJHH/McMaster.
Nigel is a Licensed Counseling Therapist with the CCTNB, a former board director for the CCTNB, a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO, an associate member with CASC, a trained qualitative researcher, and a St. Joseph’s Health Care Hamilton 3 Wishes Project Alumni.
